Leaving a grey, cold and miserable Vendée behind it was with much excitement that we headed for the airport at Nantes. Our destination? Tunisia, a last minute booking hoping for sun and warmth!
The plane landed late at night so first impressions were limited. We arrived at the hotel to find staff still waiting in the restaurant to ensure we didn’t go to bed hungry, and we shared our table with a young couple not realising that we would soon become great friends!
